Playoffs Start Tomorrow!
The Canucks will take on the Stars in Game one of the Stanley Cup PlayoffsLast night marked the beginning of what should be a very exciting playoff run for all of the Vancouver Players with the official selections made for this years Playoff Hockey Pool Teams. Some very interesting moves made by regular season winner; GM Justin Leigh who is putting all of his eggs in one basket and it's a basket of Buffalo wings. If the Sabres are eliminated by the Islanders I think we can safely say there will be no blades taking it down at the end of the Stanley Cup Final. A new player joined the ranks as David Milchard submitted a team The David Milchards with a fairly balanced attack. The Richmond Rice Rockets have bowed out of the race but all of the other regular season teams are back. Mcgowsey went with his heart and some Oko Tokers are returning from the regular season as he kept Dion Phaneuf from the Flames who face Detroit in round one, could be trouble. GM Toby Berner born and raised in Vancouver, has three canucks on his team (The only GM with true home town pride) A-W-M has a lot of Sabres on his team as well as several Pittsburgh Penguins,looks like he's trying to recapture the magic of the mid nineties Pens! All in all it should be a very exciting playoff year as the stakes go up for all of the GM's at the Vancouver Players Club. Good Luck to everyone, avoid injuries, and may the best GM take it down!
