Well it looks as though the smoke has cleared for the Burnaby Bong Water and they are ready to make their way towards this years president's Cup as the regular season winners unless they suffer a total collapse like Canucks vs. Minnesota in the first round of the playoffs a few years back or Canucks vs Detroit when Cloutier let in the slapper from center also in the playoffs. The real story here was man games and way at the bottom of the man games chart is of course Certified Organics and the Okotokers. Although GM's from other clubs may argue that it was their job at selection time that made the difference the real difference was injuries. With 101 man games missed at approximately a point a game Certified Organic for example would be at or near the top. The season is a long way from being over and there still may be hope for second place East Van Blades to make up 26 points and repeat as Season Champions but unless Evgeni Malkin breaks his leg it seems unlikely.
